Marita  Ensio Robinson’s writing, editorial and management accomplishments in the publishing industry range from the creation of JAM (Just About Me) Canada’s first magazine for pre-teen girls, to the revamping of Canadian Guider, the official magazine of the Girl Guides of Canada and the authorship of Celebration: 75 Years of Challenge & Change, a book commemorating the organization’s 75th anniversary, to regular freelance assignments as contributing editor to Young Entrepreneur and Young Biz magazines, to  the creation and production of a variety of promotional materials for arts and business.

As  Director of Promotions & Fundraising for the Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra, Ms. Ensio Robinson wrote and managed the production of brochures, flyers, posters and other sales campaign materials; organized events; and wrote press releases.

In her capacity as partner in Enprotec International, Inc., Ms. Ensio Robinson researched and produced reports on the water & wastewater treatment market in Mexico, as well as target countries in the Caribbean Basin and South America; attended environmental trade shows in Mexico and  the USA; made sales trips to Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico to promote products distributed by Enprotec and tracked international bid opportunities for projects in developing countries funded by World Bank, IADB, and ADB.

More recently, Ms. Ensio Robinson has applied her creative, fundraising and management skills to the film industry as executive producer of sorry/wrong planet, a twenty-two  minute narrative short. Based on a novella written by Ms. Ensio Robinson’s  mother, actress Martta Maria Aho, the screenplay was written and directed by Marcus Robinson.  The film was an official selection at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films (Palm Springs, California, USA -September 20-26,2005); winner in BEST SHORT category at the Canadian Filmmakers’ Festival (Toronto, March 23-26, 2006); finalist in the George Sidney Independent Film Competition (San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, California, USA, March 7-12,2006); and "voted # 4 in Top 10 Audience Favorites" at the Bay Street Film Festival (Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada - Sept 16,17,18, 2005).

Former senior writer for Playback, "Canada's broadcast and production journal", and a regular contributor to Inside Entertainment, a leading Canadian monthly,  Marcus Robinson was recently engaged to write a TV mini-series which is expected to air in the Fall of 2009. Also in the works are a screen adaptation of a novel by a renowned Chinese-Canadian author depicting the Chinese  immigrant experience in 1930s Vancouver, Canada;  a sci-fi “blockbuster”; and a Canadian “film noir” set in Greek Town, Toronto.
